Am leaving for japan quite soon, on 27th july. But first, arts camp @ smu! Hope it's enjoyable.
Have just finished smu red cross journey camp. It was fantastic! Not so much the community service component, but the people I met.....these kind of camps is definitely about the people, and I've the good fortune to meet excellent people at both. I will not compare the 2 camps I have been to, both have been extremely fun and I have met incredible people. I have not known so many great people in my life. Okay maybe I have....but still, I feel I forged some bonds there I wish with all my heart to keep strong.
I am sorry to you all that my japan trip seems to botch all the good dates nearby where we can meet up and go out, will join you all when I come back okay? If there is any singing, please reserve till when I can go!
Going for smu red cross camp soon....hope it's enjoyable. At least I'm doing some community service, which I like alot. I don't really care much, if at all about smu's quota for 80 hours community service or whatnot, I just enjoy doing it.
It's kind of.....sad, when a person you thought you were rather good friends with, after quite a long time, still refers to you in front of his or her parents as "my friend's friend". To mi, in a way, a friend is a friend, even if we just say hello and smile at each other as we walk past....not just someone who I know because he knows someone else I know. Does that make sense?
I have severe acne problems now. I'm getting stressed out, before school even starts....and apparently smu is one real place to get stressed out. I am going to kill myself there. Ok lah maybe not so bad.....got alot of ccas in mind. Wonder if I'm going to have the time for all of them. Want to join like five? That's definitely over kill.
Oh and Hui Yuan nice to see you today! Haha XD
I have not blogged in a really long time and I'm sorry to those who do come read, primarily Yan Ru and Hui Yuan =( just didn't feel like saying much although at times there were things worth mentioning.
Came back from Shanghai a few weeks back, didn't particularly enjoy the trip although the world expo was pretty good. Singapore's a rather popular country! 2 hour or so queue to enter our province exhibit. Did want to see Japan's, but it was a like 4 hour queue? And we only had a day.
More importantly, I just finished freshman teambuilding camp for smu. It's an orientation camp at outward bound school. I don't think I can describe the camp here, but it was really fun! My group was really close knit and I think this is the best camp I ever been to. Splendidd people and activities. Could do with a little less decorative food though, for people who get my drift. Planning to sign up for red cross camp and probably arts camp as well. Is 3 orientation camps overdoing it? I can't go for my own school's.
Leaving for Japan in a few weeks, not really prepared and not much time left to prepare. Got some stuff to do for school too, apply study loan, upload stuff and what not. So irritating must go for compulsory talks. Do nus and ntu have this?
Meanwhile, scoring a new, nicer version of this song called Melodies of Life on the piano. Really beautiful melody. If anyone's got time, go search vivo per lei by Andrea Bocelli and Hayley Westenra on youtube....it's a duet accompanied by an ice skating performance....very beautiful show.
