Just came back from hong kong yesterday with Roddy and Zhengyu! One of the best holidays ever....plus met Jacqueline and her 2 crazy friends in HK too! Arrived in HK and went around recce some parts to find outlet stores for Rod and ZY's clothes, got lost and ended up going when the store was already long closed. Ohwell, crap happens. 2nd day went on half day city tour (was not as bad as Rod expected it to be...for mi) and then went to Ocean Park! Found the girls there....then we went on the rides and it was way past cool. The Dragon had 3 loops on it and though it wasn't that fast it was still quite sui. Then Jacqueline mi Rod and Zhengyu went on the ABYSS whoa it was quite freaky! To those who dunno what I'm talking about, there's this ride that brings you up VERY high and holds you there for awhile, then drops you all the way down. That's it....Jacqueline was beside mi and while we were ascending we were like wth are we doing here argh this is so damn high all the way up ahahhaha....but the drop was GREAT! freaky, but great. 3rd day out @ HK's Disneyland and, as I expected, it wasn't as great as Japan's. Nevertheless still had a good time there....was less crowded than Japan's, so we managed to sit the space mountain twice. After Disneyland went to find the girls again and we ate at a restaurant near our hotel....speaking of food, in HK the wanton noodles are SUPREME. You won't find bigger wantons elsewhere. And the dim sum is a must try too....if you can find affordable ones. Food in HK is rather expensive. After dinner that night the 6 of us came to our hotel and we played asshole dai di until really late at night....then took them back to MTR station and we went back to sleep. 4th day was the girls' last day so we shopped with them awhile before waving them off to the bus to airport. Then we went about our own shopping and more or less did the same for the last day and out of HK back to SG. Much enjoyed this trip, though I dunno how to really describe it in detail...takeaways - a Von Dutch t shirt, an Esprit t shirt and black jeans, a puma cap and a CN cap. Not so bad....Rod bought a mountain of football jerseys and spent a crap load. He spent more munny than I even brought. Rich guy. Tomorrow going to new unit le! Posted to - HQ 4 Singapore Armor Brigade, Recce Troopers Kranji Camp Well, it's not CCI. But as I said, I'm alright with armor recce too. Just wish mi all the best! To those starting school with exams, good luck too!~
