Happy chinese new year! There was a rather entertaining Jackie Chan show airing just now. Don't know what it's called in english. It's funny.
Spent the whole day cleaning the house. It was rather interesting discovering things that just lie around waiting to be thrown away. Mysteriously, they always reappear every chinese new year eve.
Got a place at Bedok Green Secondary to teach english. I suppose it isn't absolutely confirmed as I'm not officially accepted as a relief teacher yet, but the very nice english HOD said they had a slot open for mi so I take that positively. Looking forward to start =) notsure how I'm going to teach english though. Better start thinking of some interesing ideas. Also hope to get the job from Red Focus to be a learning journey facilitator. Said they'd get back to mi via email to tell mi the date for an interview. Thanks Eunice for introducing it to mi! It does sound fun.
Hopefully we can have a small gathering at Mingfa's place next week over the cny period. It would be nice to see everyone again. Of course it hasn't been that long, but I do miss BRC already. I miss talking about the future and physics with Arthur and Kwok Hoe, and rubbishing around with Edmund and Sunny and Yeow Hwee. And of course, Mingfa, IT'S ALL A DAMN SET UP. I QUIT!
Looking forward to eat nut cookies.

The NS chapter of my life draws to a close. While the writing of it was arduous and trying at many instances, I am extremely glad that it was ever included in my life's story, and if I had to rewrite that story, I would certainly include this chapter all over again.
My sincerest thanks to all the excellent people who were included in this story. The bonds we forged as we crossed rivers seas and mountains and dark scary jungles, and ploughed through dungeons and monsters and freaky weather and all sorts of other awful things....I shall never forget. Friendship is forever!

Spending my time listening to music from Final Fantasy 8 and 10. 10's nicer I think. The game Grandia 3 has nice music as well. I'm not weird for paying attention to the music rather than playing the games themselves, am I?
Now that my NS is ending somewhat soon, I can't help but think I'll quite miss it when it's over. I'm certainly not one of the crazily hanging on my ORD date kind of person, and I honestly do enjoy time spent in camp sometimes. Chatting with friends, doing stuff, relaxing and reading over free time. Truth be told, I sometimes like being there more than at home, with nothing to do and no one to talk to. Of course my piano's at home, but I can bring my harmonica to camp, and it works out just fine too.
Please go listen to the orchestral version of the song Fragments of Memories from Final Fantasy 8. It's a wonderful piece of music. As is the song Love Grows, also its orchestral version, also Final Fantasy 8.

Forgot to post yesterday, I know I usually do on sundays.
Played Airsoft with the good General, LEEder, tohby, friend from Japan and some of General's friends. Very enjoyable, but rather hot weather. Wouldn't mind doing that again sometimes....with a little better odds hopefully. Would also be nice if they put a canvas sheet or netting to shade the action area from the sun.
I've taken to listening to almost all the Final Fantasy 10 soundtracks, alot of them are very nice. Final Fantasy 8 seems to have a good storyline too, 7's seems a little....jumbled and I don't like Cloud. He makes mi feel sorry for Tifa. But 8's Squall and Rinoa have almost as good a story (and romance!) as 10's Tidus and Yuna. 8 has nice music too.
And The Gift by Cecelia Ahern is a wonderful book. I haven't finished it but I'm already saying it's a very nice book. Better than Thanks for the Memories, so far. Good stories are hard to come by!
