AHS Harmony!

Just went for AHS Harmony concert yesterday...it was good! And I'm not being biased....HO improved alot from when I last went back to visit....ok the pai zi maybe still abit gan but it's very good to mi already, the song isn't easy haha....but VJ really needs to change its sound system....several times a good piece was interrupted by large noisy booms and crackles from the speakers. Maybe it's mi, I don't get along with speakers. I demonstrate a particular aversion to them when one appeared in my bunk afew weeks ago and screwed up my nice peaceful surroundings.Back to AHS Harmony....I think the concert was pretty well planned though one song guitar was abit too loud and drowned out HO (GRRR) and there was this funny song called Walk in the Park to which I couldn't figure out the props. OK I wasn't wearing my specs (they were broken, and I was half blind the whole night) so all I saw was blurry people wearing flower petals and a tree trunk swaying. I thought it was kinda lame....but clap to their effort anyway. Takes quite alot of face to wear flower petals, go up on stage and sway for 3 or 4 minutes. There was a dance item which once kinda random....doesn't really match with the rest of the songs to mi. Couldn't see much anyway. But anyway, the concert's good =) clap clap HO! It's good already just because you all are in it =DAfter concert took some picture then followed some HO members back to AHS to help them with the instruments....think chen lao shi's a really funny guy. After slacking in HO room awhile went down to 85 with POW, Qin and Amanda to eat then went home le...quite a night! Wish I could get to know more HO juniors though....after POW's batch leaves, I dun think I know anyone else in HO le. I'll miss farewell, so dun really think I'll get much chance le. You all la, put farewell on a monday. Lol....jk....sec 4s who're going, enjoy your farewell. I enjoyed mine thoroughly, though not the time we all had to go....ahh, *memories come rushing back* wish I could go back to even before that. OK, I'm getting all sentimental. I should stop.Hope there's a chance I get to perform as an alumni together with HO! I shall pick up my old harmonica again (yeah, I remember how to play it and I dun think I'm bad). Now there's a chance to revisit old times XD

back from taiwan
Sunday, November 23, 2008
HELLO! I'm back from Taiwan! Suddenly feel quite lazy to blog about it....I can't say too much anyway. But what I said before is true, we did walk incredible distances with incredible load. BRCC's finally over and I got my jungle hat. Alot of other people are like, big deal, piece of cloth! But it's quite something to mi.Rest and recreation in Taipei was fantastic, ate alot of cool food. Most Taiwanese speak chinese so getting around isn't a problem, though once I start talking they know straightaway I'm not local. Same way with everyone else. For much of the RNR I was wishing it could last longer, and half wanting to quickly fly back home. Not sure which part was winning. But I was quite happy to get on the plane back to SG anyway. Now hopefully much of the xiong stuff is over and get more slacker le....bad news for mi when my bunk mates bought a speaker system and are blasting their rock music in bunk everyday. Actually I wun go so far to call it music rather then noise. I can't even stay in my own bunk in the afternoon, got to escape over to Edmund's. Sorry, I'm more inclined toward....slightly slower, quieter songs.Hope I can bookout in time to eat dinner before going HO concert this coming friday. Looking forward to it! Jiayou HO!!!
