For anyone who notices, the number of posts on my blog has fairly substantially decreased. Special reasons.Somewhat, I'm getting a little more confident for my piano exam. I can recognise fairly simple chords for aural, though if it gets tricky I'll just have to guess. If sight reading comes out a piece that's supposed to be fast and light, I'm still dead.I'll try to make another HO outing soon. Once this month is through, I guess afew people'll be freer? Kbox can't ask too many people de neh. If not must wait too long for mike, not fun.Nothing much to talk about. Must go back camp soon. Wah piang eh.

Just got the letter for my piano exam. It's on 10th march.Die, fail. Confirm fail. In effect, today being 7th feb, I have 8 days left, since I can only bookout on weekends, blast SAF far and between. 8 days is far insufficient for someone who hasn't even started arpeggios, can only play chromatic thirds at half the required speed and has done completely zero for aural.For those who're familiar with the prerequisites for a music exam, you know how much trubble I'm in. For those who don't....I'm good as gone. And it's not the usual kind of things you say before exams ah sure die la, this is really, honestly a gone case.But I'm not the kind to disappear without fighting. I'm gonna whack my pieces and whatever I can over that 8 days and show the angmoh examiner what I can do. At least at the end, I can say I did what I could.That aside. I find myself having a slight contempt for NCC people. It's quite disconcerting to see someone distinctly younger than mi wearing army uniform, and with an astonishing number of rank stripes just below his shoulder. Then you look at his epaulette and see the letters "NCC" written there and you go ahya chey he's only in NCC. Small prejudices.Alot of things making mi extremely irritated past week but I guess everything's more or less okay. I dun like dwelling on stuff.Got my PDL. Passed final theory test. Doesn't mean much to mi, I'm learning driving more so to get it out of the way before university.Going to see what I can learn online for aural now.
