it's been awhile since I last posted, sorry! a month....been in taiwan for 3 weeks, and then had a week of off which ends today. going back to camp later at night.
taiwan was really fun if not a little hot, still summer there and the sun really glares sometimes. can't say much about the time spent with the trainees, but it was enjoyable all the same. rest and recreation in kaohsiung and taipei were fantastic, did quite alot of shopping (but bought not many things back anyway) and eating. shopping and food in taiwan is better than hong kong I think, a little cheaper if you know where to go, and better eats. think taiwan, hong kong and japan'd be my favorite holiday places. not too keen on europe, but visiting switzerland would be nice. or canada in america, or seattle to see the fish market and eat seafood. getting dreamy now.
spent much of this week scoring songs, playing random games on my xbox. playing piano, whacking my punching bag and going out. hope I can get used to camp life again....been a month since I last was in there. 5 more months to ORD, not as short as it seemed before taiwan. still got some stuff to do before that I think.
Am now tearing in between bioengineering and biological sciences for university courses. last chance to choose is next year, and they may not even accept mi. quite afraid of engineering now though, after hearing from jacq it contains alot of computing, hard math and generally stuff that brings mi a great deal of mental discomfort. but no one ever got anywhere without abit of discomfort. as my old sergeant major said, pain is good. alot of pain is extremely good!
my helicopter's spoilt. a balance bar dropped off, and though I tried to glue it back on, it wobbles awfully when flying, like it's about to break apart. what a let down.
