Yesterday! The day JC students slog (debatable in my case) for 2 years to reach....A Level results day! Admittedly, I didn't feel alot of tension as results day drew closer....I just passed everyday with my usual mindset. Even on results day itself (an off day from work) I was pretty bochup about it....I still went about my usual running and slacking and stoning. It's not because I'm super confident or anything....guess I'm just not the kind to be super jittery about results. Met Sarah Abigail Szeming Yongsheng Joanne Whatno to eat at airport first before going off to nanyang with Sarah....we chose the completely wrong way to go there which turned out to be the very correct way to go on that particular day. 1430 is the official results time, and at 1500 hours Quek was still jabbering. We reached school considerably late and they were still announcing top students -.- was about to get seriously bored when Sarah's name showed up. CONGRATS on your 4 (I think it was four) distinctions! Told you honor roll people dun have to worry about anything~ Finally everyone went downstairs and it was time for the more normal people to collect results.... Math A Physics B Chemistry B GP A Economics A Well it went better than I thought it would....considering I'm not the all-out mugging type and I hand in roughly 10% of my homework. Math teacher was especially surprised. Quite happi with how I done....now just hope that I can get into NTU's engineering courses. According to the people there at open house, it should be no problems....they better not be pouring hunny in my ears. To all those who're happi with results, CONGRATULATIONS! Enough said. To those who, well, aren't....DON'T WORRY! It's not the end of the world....shit happens all the time, look forward~ as long as you put in the best effort, no regrets =) Dreams may get further away, but they cannot disappear! Cheers to A Levels!
