My computer's got a virus, AGAIN. It is doing very irritating and ridiculous things with my account on facebook. Yucks! I may have to format my drive again soon.
I transposed the whole of guang liang's dou shi ni to make it easier for mi to sing. Shi nian is now out of the question, I realised some parts are too high. I'm now in the midst of transposing and scoring JJ Lin's hui you na me yi tian as well. And soon, I want to start on flying without wings. It's a beautiful song, but I probably want to transpose that as well, up a tone or so.
Spending lots of time on my piano when I'm free, or with my punching bag, or training slowly for standard chartered marathon. It's probably not going to be a very easy 42km, I was never a real great endurance runner. Still, I plan to finish it strong!
I want to buy a labtop! Or is it spelt laptop? K I want to buy a foldable mobile computer. Doesn't have to be a $3000 powerhouse, just a fairly simple one will do.
I remember that I had alot of things I wanted to say....but now I can't remember what all of them are.
My printer cannot detect the ink I put inside it. I refilled it and shook the ink cartridges, there's ink in there. But when I try to print bu dong's music score by JJ Lin, it says both ink levels are extremely low. I may have to resort to manually copying out all 7 pages of that score. Think you're right Eunice, it's allergic to music.
Everyone is having exams now, JC, university ok O levels are almost over but nevertheless, alot of people are all caught up in their work now. Good luck to all, have faith, stay strong, you'll all pull through. Everyone I know is an intelligent person, and I'm sure you'll all hit your targets, finish strong =)
Spent much of the day wandering around Bugis on my own. There is a certain peace in walking around, amongst the usual sunday crowd but still alone, looking through books at kinokuniya, where I spent most of my time, wandering up and down the streets, entering random shops. But of course, I still wish I had company.
Having alot of trouble sleeping lately.....I can lie awake in bed for over an hour. I wake up frequently during the night, lie awake some more, then fall asleep again. And I eventually wake up in the morning around 5am, and am unable to fall asleep again. So I continue turning left and right, and looking up at the ceiling till 6am plus till it's time to get up. That's in camp of course. At home, push forward all the timings by 3 hours or so.
Do I have alot on my mind, a good friend asks. Yeah I do, but I'm not the emo type. Fretting over things isn't really my style. If this persists, I will get sleeping pills. It won't do for mi to go around everyday sleepy, but ironically being unable to sleep at night.
Please let mi run fast tomorrow.
Went to sing song at chevron's over the weekend, and now I feel like scoring shi nian as well, seems to match my voice too, and the piano accompaniment is beautiful. The words are nice too, and...I just like the song.
Nothing much to say about this weekend, except I will spend a whole 5 days in the wilderness this week. Well, I'm prepared, and I'm strong! =)
November's here, 3 more months or so to end of my NS. Whatever people usually say about NS, I will definitely miss it after it's over. But this is something to think about later in the year. As of now, the good LEEder introduced a very good job to mi. I shall pick it up soon, hopefully it will give mi time still to do relief teaching, and still keep my weekend nights relatively free.
